Neil Young's new CD Prairie Wind is going to be released on September 20th on CD and DVD according to his web site. The DVD will show him and his band recording the whole record and every note. A month after undergoing surgery to address a brain aneurysm, Young returned to Nashville where he originally began sessions for his next album. According to a post by Young's sister Astrid on her official Web site, longtime collaborators such as keyboardist Spooner Oldham, pedal steel guitarist Ben Keith and drummer Carl Himmel have joined Young in the studio.

Also in bigger news for Neil Youg fans, it?s been mentioned on the website, that Young?s Archives Volume 1 will soon follow. The long awaited archives contains numerous songs the Young has recorded throughout this career that have never been released or heard
